“Facing death creates an internal compass which points to the simple truths in life. Life boils down to the essence of giving and receiving love. Photographically I see beauty in simple and pure images.”

Training: Received Bachelors of Art from University of Louisville, Major – Painting/Photography, Minor – Psychology.
Received Masters of Art from University of Louisville in Expressive Art Therapy.
Population: Hospice of Louisville with terminally ill children and families of the terminally ill; Child abuse crisis center; Crisis counselor for traumatic death; Art director – senior center; Medical Illustration at the University of Louisville school of Dental and Medical; Book design and illustration for faculty at U of L.
Family: My husband Dan who has supported and encouraged my artistic expression; the three children with whom we have been blessed – Dane, Lauren, and Logan.
Community Activities: Ariel Theatre, set design; 4-H lectures for schools and quality assurance (Farm Woman of the Year 2007); First Presbyterian Church – deacon and mentoring youth.
